Partnership Tax Manager – In-house

This international property and construction consultants with offices in the UK and the US is looking for a partnership tax manager to join its finance team. This is a prominent role and an opportunity to join and be a key part of a dynamic senior finance team.

The primary responsibility of the role will be to handle all aspects of the partnership tax and accounting at individual partner and corporate levels. Specifically:

• Working closely with, and supplying all relevant information to, the advisers who prepare all the tax returns
• Liaising with the external accountants for preparation of the annual partners tax provisions/reserves
• Review and approval of the quarterly LLP VAT return.
• Advising on taxation implications of overseas workers / employees.
• Taking the lead on the new Basis Period Refo
• Ad hoc tax queries relating to VAT, IR35, PSA
• Ad hoc advice to partners including to those joining and leaving the partnership

This is a high profile role with considerable senior management/partner contact so the right individual must have excellent experience of partnership and partners tax compliance and advisory issues either in the profession or in-house. As well as the ability to confidently deal with partners, the person must also be commercial and be able to proactively pick up on issues which may be relevant to the firm.
